Eerder ASSy Adjustable Suspension System

ASSy Adjustable Suspension System makes your rear end stiffer. The 20mm wide stainless steel clamp fits around the Brompton suspension block and can be adjusted to increase pre-tension. The clamp prevents the diabolo shaped rubber block from bulging, this way making the block stiffer and the ride less bouncy.

Note: Only fits on the original post 2017 Brompton diabolo shaped suspension block

Are you tired of bouncing up and down with each pedal stroke than ASSy is your thing. Especially Bromptons with titanium seatposts have the tendency to bounce as titanium is just over half the stiffness of steel when dimension are the same (which is the case with Brompton seatposts and wall thickness isn't much different either in general, wanne know more read about Young's Modulus) This habit of titanium is often called 'comfort' , which is true if you like to bounce. Anyway with ASSy your Brompton will bounce less.

Note: my personal preference is to tighten the clamp so that it's just tight and doens't move when there's no pressure on the block.

• Band 20 mm wide with beveled edges to protect the suspension block from damage
• Use a 10 mm spanner to adjust the pre-tension, same size as for your seatpost clamp.
• Weight: 50 gram (not the lightest, but if you loose 50 gram yourself your Bike will bounce even less, which is a win win!
