Eerder Full Metal Bracket Clamp-on for Velo Orange Neutrino bikes Mk2 production No.13
Note: I will make more of these and will put them online as soon as I've got them ready to sell. Fill in your email address if you would like to get a back in stock notification email with a link to this product. If I put a small quantity up for sale you will get a notification email, but if it's sold out before you had a chance, you have to subscribe again. It works only one time, unhandy but that's the way it works...
The Full Metal Bracket for Velo Orange Neutrino bikes fits all bikes with a 35.3 - 38.3 mm headtube diameter. The diameter of the clamps is 37.3 mm, which is the diameter of the Neutrinos 1 1/8" headtube. Especially the back clamps deflect a little so they can accomodate to the diameter of the headtube. I've tested the FmB on headtubes ranging from 35.3 - 38.3 mm and it fit's nicely, because of this deflection. I don't reccomend using it on bigger or smaller headtubes though.
Note the bike you have in mind should have a tall enough headtube for a Brompton luggage frame (or a bag with the frame in it). Most luggage frames are 30 cm tall excluding the handle. Also take into consideration that you need some 5 cm for putting the bag on the bracket and taking it off again. Cables (or lines) can be interfering with the bag, so you need to route them close to the headtube. Also consider the position on the headtube where you would want to install it. The lower the better, because it gives more room for the bag which sits mostly on top of the bracket, but the down tube (and the lug or welds/brazes) might interfere with the clamps. The spacing between both clamps is 47mm in case a lug or downtube connection should fit in between
Tech tip: don't apply tape to your headtube to protect the paint. The Full metal Bracket might slip and rotate due to side impacts and road vibrations and will need a much higher torque than when mounted without tape. I will include a bit of carbon assembly paste for added friction and lower torque. Apply torque evenly (keep an eye on the bolt ends), diagonally and moderately until it doesn't slip anymore when giving the bag a push sideways. This way you'll end up with the lowest possible torque which will save your paint from cracking and the clamps from bending or worse.

The assembly instructions in the video below don't apply to the clamp-on version. You don't have to take the clamp-on version apart prior to installing it. But it gives a good understanding of the product as it's quite similar.
