Eerder metaal 12x1mm Tru axle UDH derailleur gear kit Standard for Brompton G line
Eerder metaal 12x1mm Tru axle UDH derailleur gear kit Standard works with standard G-line tires of 2.1" width and narrower.
Only 7 kits are currently being produced.
The derailleur kit consists of:
- Left and right stainless steel and aluminium dropouts including stainless steel dropout bolts, Sram UDH hanger and DT Swiss 12x1 Thru Axle
- Modified Shimano Saint 10 speed derailleur with B tension system and chain catch cage extender. (shifts crisp with Deore XT 11 speed shifter, chain and cassette, but you can choose 10 speed parts if you prefer)
- BB mount adjustable chain hook, stainless steel
- Front light mount
- Optional Hope Pro 5 rear hub and Sapim Race spoke set with brass Polyax nipples for the original G-line rim
- Optional 140-160mm Flatmount rear adapter and 160mm Hope disc Centerlock rotor set front and rear.
The kit doesn't include some items:
You just need to order a cassette 11-40 or 11-42, a chain and a trigger shifter at another shop or maybe these are in your parts bin or on a bike you don't use much. I don't include these, so you can opt for 10 speed if you don't want 11 speed.
I make some items mandatory rather than optional, so I don't do partial kits/products with some parts left out. I only add items to a kit or product when I believe it really makes sense for some reason. Parts that are not modified by me and offered by big online stores are regularly the object of discussion (I hear often: can you leave those out cause I already have them in my parts bin...). People like to order parts online at the big price fighters to have more choice, but mostly hoping to save some money. Yet I do need money to be able to develop parts for Brompton conversions or to extend their usability. My parts might look simple but in reality they aren't and take a tremendous amount of time to get everything just right. So I only offer parts that make sense to offer/include and I like to educate people so they understand how things work on my side. I need customers who grant me sales because they appreciate what I'm doing. And I'm lucky to have a lot of customers that do so.
