This stainless steel light bracket has been designed to be much stiffer and stronger than Brompton's own wire form light bracket for SON lights (Replacement hub dynamo lamp bracket only - Front (Shimano SON) EAN 5053099014156). The Brompton light bracket appears to be not strong and stiff enough for the rather heavy Ladelux and might/will eventually break. Furthermore the position of the light has been optimised for the longer SON Ladelux. (for Ladelux you need the handlebar switch 20cm and the extension cable 80 cm, send me an email if you like to order a set)
Reuse the concave to flat conversion washer supplied with the original Brompton front reflector or light to make the transition from the round part of the fork crown to the flat section of the light bracket.
It's 67mm long from the mount base to center of the hole at the end and both holes are inline with each other, so it's effectively straight.
