Eerder metaal front light bracket for SON lights. For Cateye lights from the Volt and Ampp series you will need the little add-on :
The Eerder G line light mount is designed to work with most front lights as long as they're not much bigger than the Son light. The light mount is quite long to bring the light to a place where there's room for it while having a bag on the Front Carrier Block. The head tube is short, so the light doesn't fit at the regular C line position closer by the headtube in combination with a bag/carrier block.
The screws that go through the sides are for cable management and reinforcement. See photo below:
When mounting the light mount to the fork crown you can play a bit with the position of the light mount on the crown in order to get the direction right. When mounted right its concentric to the mudguard/wheel. See photo below:
This Light mount is a standard item for the G line Extended dropout kits as for fatter tyres you need to put the front fender higher up, further away from the wheel. As it's already against the underside of the fork 'crown' it can only be put higher when cut into two sections. The short front section should be bolted to the underside of the Eerder light mount. The three M3 threaded attachment points are intended for this purpose.
