Full metal Remote for Full metal Bracket
Remote control cable fits the latch of the Full metal Bracket, all versions Mk1 - Mk3
Instructions for fitting it to your Full metal Bracket. The one end of the remote cable which is already fixed to the aluminium threaded boss is usually used on the right hand side of the bracket / bike. It's a slightly longer end of the two and makes the 'finger loop end' slightly off center left of the frame tube. This way it's more convenient for people getting on and off the bike on the left side (most people). If you jump off your bike on the right hand side instead you can choose to use the 'fixed' end on the left side.
You best put the bike in a stand or upside down before you start to have a good view on the underside of the Full metal Bracket. Both ends of the cable (one end still has the aluminium boss attached to it) are led through the Full metal Bracket, not around it, just as can be seen in the video. Push the aluminium boss through the hole in the latch. Now unwind the unused grub screw just far enough to fully expose the hole in the threaded boss, lead the loose end through the little hole (you propbably need a narrow nose / needle nose plier to do so) and tighten the grub screw. Don't overtighten it, no need to do so. Just lightly tighten similar to the 'fixed' side.
