This is my personal favourite! after having tested and compared prices of quite some biodegradable chain lubes. For me no more PTFE lubes as lube always washes off by the rain or water splashing up from the road and end up in the environment. PTFE is a nasty chemical which doesn't breake down at all and was a lot in the news lately.
PTFE free Hanseline biodegradable Chain oil with Graphite for lubrication of chain, shifting device, etc. Even if the oil film is already worn off the Graphite will make sure there's still some dry run lubrication.
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene ) is very widely used and is produced in thousands of tons per year, so what is happening to all of the material once it is dumped and ends up not being used anymore. PTFE does not breakdown and this means it will continue to build up in the environment, causing bioaccumulation in food chains. It contaminates everything and in hundreds of years will still not have broken down....
