This is a very special version of the MKS Allways as it's of a limited run of barrel polished aluminium pedal cages with only the left side EZY Superior and the right side standard (non detachable) These are unique sets you won't find anywhere else!

Normally the Allways silver pedals have a dull aluminium grey (shot peened) finish to hide and remove imperfections from the casting process.

The body of the ALLWAYS pedal is one of the most difficult parts to die-cast due to its complex shape. The molten aluminium alloy, heated to over 600°C, flows through narrow gaps inside the mould, causing the mould to melt easily, which often results in rough surfaces on the pedal body. Each time this happens, we grind the surface with a grinder and smooth it with shot blasting.Typically, MKS die-cast moulds are renewed after about 70,000 shots. The ALLWAYS moulds have been renewed in June 2023. On this occasion, when the mould is still fresh and perfect, MKS decided to make the ALLWAYS pedals in a barrel-polished versions in limited numbers as the mould erodes...

The left side EZY version comes with a pouch for storage of the removed left pedal, but you can get a more convenient magnetic pedal holder from us. The one side EZY is sold at a lower price than the both sides EZY Superior but does what it needs to do for your Brompton. You don't need a detachable right side pedal on a Brompton, but if you, for some reason, need it, we have those too.

The MKS Allways EZY Superior are pedals which can be used for all types of cycling. It features a large platform, replaceable pins, MKS triple sealed bearings, while still being lightweight. To be able to remove this pedal during your travels it's equiped with the Ezy Superior axle and locking mechanism.

The patented Ezy Superior system allows for safe, rapid, and tool-less removal of pedals for travel, storage, or flexibility. Particularly popular as an upgrade for folding bicycles, those who take their bikes on mass transit, or travel bikes with coupler systems our Ezy superior system can dramatically improve ride quality while saving space.

• The large diameter low profile molded lugs and replaceable stainless-steel pins give fantastic grip while minimizing damage to the soles of shoes.

• Concave shape fits the curve of shoes, proving a stable foot position and excellent stability.

• The MKS Triple sealed bearing system provides extremely smooth rotation enabling comfortable & efficient pedaling.

• Shot blasted finish gives the Allways a stylish appearance.

The Allways pedals are available in a Silver or Black

Note: always apply some assembly compound or bearing grease to the pedal threads or the EZY adapters' threads
