MKS UB-LITE Ezy pedals set
Product Details

The Japanese component maker MKS makes long lasting pedals with very nice cup cone bearings which run very smooth and last forever, well at least very long.

With MKS original Ezy system, the pedals are easily & rapidly released without any specific tools.

The MKS UB lite with black or silver cage is a variation of PROMENADE model with the cast one-piece aluminium body and cage, it's wider than the PROMENADE, and it's usable without toe clips as both sides of the platform are the same design. Very comfortable and grippy!

It is best suitable for folding bikes or packing and carrying bikes for traveling by train. This set can be used as an alternative to Brompton's folding pedal and gives more room for your shoes. Especially on the left side where Brompton has the folding pedal with quite a narrow cage with the bearing and folding mechanism directly next to it.
The provided yellow stopper safety clips must be fitted. If they're not used the pedal may accidentally be released during the ride by your shoe. Obviously this may result in serious injury. According to my own experience riding without them, it's not very likely to go wrong, but I might have been lucky...The MKS Allways pedals, available in black and silver have a more advanced EZY locking system which MKS calls the EZY Superior. With the Superior couplings you don't need to use a safety clip, therefore these pedals come without them.
