Very interesting read when you know the pleasure a fast low rolling resistance tire can give you on your #Brompton. Author David Henshaw says: "sadly the days of the Primo Comet are long gone. This was of conventional width, but made good use of tough but flexible modern fibres to create light, supple sidewalls and a thin flexible tread. It performed as well as many conventional 26-inch tyres, the secret being in the flexible construction and the width."

The Primo is with just 202 grams actual Dutch grams one of the lightest tyres available for your Brompton bike! Which is less than all the other options except the folding Schwalbe One tyre. In fact two Primo's weigh 40 grams less than one Marthon tyre. The black Primo sells for 25 euro. Lower rolling resistance than a Schwalbe Kojak tyre, a couple of mm wider, so more comfort, they still roll good on 2,5 bar for the front tyre and corner great due to the sticky compound! No need for a thread pattern, just the right compound, even in the wet. What more could you wish for?
