Author David Henshaw says: "sadly the days of the Primo Comet are long gone. This was of conventional width, but made good use of tough but flexible modern fibres to create light, supple sidewalls and a thin flexible tread. It performed as well as many conventional 26-inch tyres, the secret being in the flexible construction and the width."
