Old stock B(arn find) choice condition Primo tan wall tyres for Dahon or other bikes with 16" / 305 mm rims, so not for Brompton. These last few tyres in stock have some minor mold spots on the light colored side walls from laying some years in a dark but humid barn. Nothing problematic and hardly visible, but will not sell them for the full price either. Iconic tyre which is sadly no longer in production.

Very interesting read when you know the pleasure a fast low rolling resistance tire can give you on your #Brompton. Author David Henshaw says: "sadly the days of the Primo Comet are long gone. This was of conventional width, but made good use of tough but flexible modern fibres to create light, supple sidewalls and a thin flexible tread. It performed as well as many conventional 26-inch tyres, the secret being in the flexible construction and the width."
The Primo in ETRTO 305 mm is with just 180 grams one of the lightest tyres available. Lower rolling resistance than a Schwalbe Kojak tyre, a couple of mm wider, so more comfort, they still roll good on 2,5 bar for the front tyre and corner great due to the sticky compound! No need for a thread pattern, just the right compound, even in the wet. What more could you wish for?
