These Voile Straps® are made of tough stretch polyurethane, with a UV-resistant additive to increase their lifespan.
The length of the strap is measured withouit the buckle, so just the PU strap. When looking for the right length for a particular job deduct a minimum of 2 3/8" / 6 cm from the strap length to get the effective working length.
This 12" length is great for strapping small things to your bike, your bag or the #mainframehugger utility platform. Things like a pump, a spare tube an empty shopping bag or a drinking bottle as biggest thing possible.
For bigger stuff you can combine two straps and get a 49 cm or 19" of effective length. Almost the same length as it's longer brother the 20mm 20" strap.
