There are basically two #Seatposthugger models, the classic long version and the short XS version. Both have the same functionality, the XS version positions the bag closer to the seatpost. The short XS version works great for people with the extended or telescopic post and the saddle in the standard forward position. In case you are riding with the short/standard seatpost check if there's at least 43cm (17") of post extended, measured from the top of the seat tube to the underside of the saddle rail /Pentaclip. When in use make sure that some 15-16 cm of seatpost is visible under the seatposthuggerXS to clear your heels. The latter is also applicable to those riding with the longer Models 1,2,3,4 and 6, but maybe it even works fine with the Seatposthugger a bit lower. In case your seatpost doesn't meet or exceed that 43cm limit you need the Model 3 or 4.2 or 6 which are longer.

See the photo with these measurements and the XS version seatposthugger below. For shorter people the longer seatposthugger (model 3 or 4.2) might be the best fit. I say 'might' as a small / lower bag like the shoulder bag or tote bag might still be fine on the XS version as it can be closer to the saddle without interference. Also short people with the saddle in an aft position (creating a bigger reach and therefore a stretched riding position) might need the longer Model 3 or 4.2 or 6
