Suspension block hole fixer
Not totally sure what causes this hole in the Brompton rear frame to grow this big, but let's call it wear and tear, use and abuse (and neglect) This hole fixer is a simple fix, just undo the nut on the suspension block bolt, remove the black plastic washer if still there, probably not, add the hole fixer beveled side * towards the frame (you can apply some assembly paste if you like) add a new black washer if it's gone or worn. Very important: check the condition of the white stepped plastic washer inside the bottom end of the suspension block, replace if necessary (small end facing outwards). Ask me to add the washer(s) to your order with a note in the comments field or ask your local Brompton dealer.
* the curvature and the short bottom edge have a bevel on one side to deal with the radius in the corner of the suspension block plate of the rear frame
Note: The black rear frame on the photos needs an Eerder Repair bridge to repair the broken roller/easy wheel supports. As a result you don't really need a hole fixer in this case, but idealy both are combined to get the most solid result.
